The wind is talking. Can you hear it? I feel like I poured palm oil on Esu. Incase you have not ventured into traditional African Spirituality, Esu is the god that owns the crossroads. Unless Esu allows for it, there is no understanding. And if He does not allow it- Heaven forbids he opens the doors of confusion. He appears as the winged god, Mercury in greek mythos. Im not sure what Mercury likes tho ?
Thankfully, Esu-Baba Elegbara likes African palm oil and will smooth a devotee's transitions after accepting the emollient gift. It seems at this time, Esu wants me to understand a couple of esoteric, Earth conjure concepts because he has my attention centered on December 04. A few minutes ago while watching a Santa Barbara Festival broadcast on TVE Bahia Live, it just clicked. Duh? Yesterday was Shango’s birthday!! I felt an intensity of energy yesterday so I knew something was up, b.u.t. I attributed it to the numerology; 12/04 transnumerated into ‘4444'. Which is a fucking big deal because the number ’44’ is the numeric value of one of, if not thee god of Western Occultism. And 12/04/2017 or ‘4444’ day coincided with a Gemini Super Moon- so last night was electric! Thus my borrowing David Banner’s astral body for my own special ritual. Ha! Whew… (See previous post.) #circuitry
So, I understood that December was the 12th month, which can be factored into 4x3, or 4+4+4. Then it was the 4th day of the month, which is another 4. So using numerology, yesterdays numeric attribute and consequential imprinted vibration was ‘4444.’ If you payed close attention, that combination of digits were showing up everywhere in the social realms. If I wasn't clear on the Priesthood’s influence on society, yesterday the remainder of the scales were removed from my eyes. Conspiracy Me.
So, anyways. The internet led me to view the Festival for Santa Barbara in Salvador. And from what Ive seen from TVE Bahia in years past, its always a lively and invigorating showcase with relevant honor of the Orisha. So I watched a bit at work then shared it on my FB Page (Keshia ‘K Boogie’ Shantae) to view later. After my podcast last night I had a date with ’44’ so I didn't finish watching the concert. This morning, I cleared my schedule so I could meet the Autumn winds. (Gosh, that sounds coded. Lol, I literally sat outside like a country belle until the weather changed, then went inside and began cleaning and clearing like a good witch when winds change.) And while enjoying the warm and cool breezes, I heard it on the wind: Happy Birthday Saint Barbara! The fact that I haven't been to an Ife temple in years is no excuse. Not as much as I petition her… Bad Kesh.
Thankfully, I was listening to his wife, Oya. She is strong winds that blow. She is the one singing his praise yesterday and today. And she is still passing over the lands. And Saint Barbara, or Shango (Hoodoo/Ife/Santeria/Voodoo), is still very strongly present. Now I better understand the ‘4444’ energy…. It is not by coincidence or happenstance that December 04 is the Festival Day for arguably, the most fiercest warrior god in many of the African pantheon’s spiritual systems. Not at all. That was intentionally crafted by the priesthood. And all the other ‘4444’ resonates that occurred yesterday, Im willing to bet have also been set in place by Robes.
Cant say Im too mad about it. The more I understand, the more I see how everything has its proper place. And that which is out of place? Petition Saint Barbara y Chango… After you've settled your debts with Esu.

wiki: Accounts place her in the 3rd century in the Greek city Nicomedia, present-day Turkey or in Heliopolis of Phoenicia, present-day Baalbek, Lebanon.... Her name can be traced to the 7th century, and veneration of her was common, especially in the East, from the 9th century.
Saint Barbara is often portrayed with miniature chains and a tower. As one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers, Barbara continues to be a popular saint in modern times, perhaps best known as the patron saint of armourers, artillerymen, military engineers, miners and others who work with explosives because of her old legend's association with lightning, and also of mathematicians. Many of the thirteen miracles in a 15th-century French version of her story turn on the security she offered that her devotees would not die without making confession and receiving extreme unction."
wiki: The panel on the top left shows Saint Barbara's baptism in a holy stream. There is also a scene showing Barbara in front of the tower her tyrannical father, Dioscorus, began constructing in order to confine her. She is giving directions to the builder to add a third window to the building. For Saint Barbara, this was a way to represent the Holy Trinity.
Below this, in the bottom left panel, Dioscorus learns about his daughter's acceptance of the new faith and threatens her with a sword. This causes Barbara to run away to the forest. Her father pursues her and her location is given away by a pastor. He is punished for this deed by being turned into stone.
The panel on the top right narrates the torments inflicted on Saint Barbara. She was taken to the Praetor after her capture and sentenced to death after torture. The right side of the panel illustrates her breasts being pulled.
The bottom right panel depicts two additional scenes. Barbara is being stoned by a group of males on the left, and on the right, she is beheaded by her father, the king. At the same time, the king and his accomplice are seen to be the target of a lightning strike and Barbara’s soul is welcomed by an angel.
