Circle Sisters 13dark & divine goddess lifestyle

Fall time is perfect festival weather! I loooove street festivals. Today I was suppose to meet-up with my sister in NOLA for Womanifest 8 but they have another hurricane headed their way. Then I wanted to attend my favorite forager's class in Caddo Lakes SP, but it was already full. So as I scrolled my social media timeline, the KBR Kids Day at Guadeloupe Plaza Park caught my eye. Yes! Something for my Little and for me. The weather was gorgeous so the park was most defiantly the place to be. I gotta say Thank You to KBR. Damn they are gangsters... The festival was obviously well financed because all the booths had enriching, engaging and interactive activities for the kids plus give-aways. And the emphasis on sustainable life... we learned about the Houston and Galveston watershed tables, groups that are turning vacant lots into profitable food co-ops, real-time life cycles of reptiles and butterflies and on the main stage was a 60-minute presentation given by Texas Parks and Wildlife on US birds of prey- with the actual birds! Y'all know me and my little were front-and-center, lol. To round out the day, after the festival Mini-Me played in the splashpad. #Winning #HeySunshine Special HTX shout out to Graffiti Artist @Gonzo247. Always reppin for the city.
