Im not entirely sure what made me think the subject of Esther would be a basic one? I thought I would read the book, link the Names- add an "A" and take a "H" and Shazam! Esther is Easter... The End. Nah, the snake hole is much deeper. Esther is indeed linked to Easter but to get to the link Im being directed through Persia.. Persia! What do I know about Persia, now or ancient? Nothing. I was discussing with a friend a few days ago about the omission of all things 'Orient' from our school studies. Then as an adult we tend to go no further than Islam... I think I stated this before on this blog. Im pretty sure I have... So now that my search for Esther has led me to Persia, my detour is opening up another perspective. (Unrelated to Persia but relevant to this post and southern dialects: I originally typed "a whole nother perspective" and was auto-corrected- " A whole nothing perspective." I started to retype "a whole another" and realized it was southern slang. Whoever started the saying broke 'another' into 3 words... Skillz. Not only does Esther point to the Persian Empire, she also is the Queen of the Jewish Tradition. She is accredited with postioning the Jews-Hebrews for future globalization. To them she is Ha'dassa. To me, there is too much I still don't know and want to understand about this story. Esther is the Mother of the 3 Abrahamic traditions by way of Mordecai and King Zerces. Although she is biblical, she is also historical. Im still looking for that information, who she is in history. As my questions are answered, more are created. So the video on Esther's Easter is pending until I understand more. Below is a video Im currently studying. As you will see Its a difficult study due to the Yiddish. Ive watched a few of these Rabbi taught lessons and the wisdom of the priesthood abounds. Its no wonder Jews are successfully navigating politics. They are very clear on their Purpose.
